Paul A. Troiano, Sr., 66, was called to be with our Lord, on Friday, March 27th, 2015 at his home, with all his family around him. He was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Amedeo and Mary Ann [Tomasetti] Troiano and has lived in Lake City for the past 14 years. Paul was a proud Marine and went to the Vietnam in 1965. He later worked with the NYCTPD for 20 years. After retiring, he moved to Florida and did many important jobs, including volunteering at the V.A. Medical Center, spiritually encouraging all whom he came in contact with, CSI, Paralegal, and Bodyguard for the rich and famous among various other jobs. Paul loved life with great passion, and shared this joy with those around him, by keeping us all laughing.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 44 years, Annette Troiano; his sons, Paul (Vaishali) Troiano Jr. and Louis (Jennifer) Troiano; brother, Victor Troiano; grandchildren, Gianna, Joseph, and Cameron. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2105 at Epiphany Catholic Church with Father Rob Trujillo officiating. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery (Bushnell) at a later date. Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
