Mrs. Patsy Anne (Carter) Bognar, 85, of Live Oak, Florida, died peacefully Wednesday morning January 31st at Surrey Place Nursing Home in Live Oak, Florida. Mrs. Bognar was born in Milan, Illinois and moved to Clearwater Florida in the 1950's with her husband Darrel W. Bognar and four children.  She moved to Spokane, Washington for a brief time.  Her final residence was in Live Oak, Florida where she lived for almost 20 years. She was employed by the Pinellas County School System in the 1970's. She   was   the   daughter   of   the   late   Guy Leroy Carter and Hattie Tipple Carter of Illinois  She had two brothers, Donald and Cecil Carter of Illinois, who died at the ages of 11 and 12 years old.  She also has two deceased siblings, Doris Rogers of Milan, Illinois and Guy Carter Jr of Silvis, Illinois. Mrs. Bognar is survived by:  2 daughters: Daria (husband Charles) Hysell of Live Oak FL. and Wendy (husband Richard) Thomas of St. Augustine FL, 1 son: Farran (wife Lorraine) Bognar of Clearwater FL.

Preceded in death by a son: Robbie Lee (wife Mary) Bognar of St. Cloud FL.

Grandchildren are: Dina Gathers, Charles Hysell lll, Christopher Bognar, Steven Bognar, Jeffrey Bognar, Matthew Thomas and Nicholas Thomas and several great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service of Life will be held for Patsy Anne (Carter) Bognar and Darrel Wayne Bognar on Saturday February 17th 2018, 12 noon at 7135 Wiggins Road in Live Oak, Florida.
