Patricia Batey Siter, 67, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 after a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).

Pat was born on December 24, 1946 to Walter and Justina Batey. She grew up in Patchogue, NY and moved to Florida in 1979. Pat was a minister with the Assemblies of God and enjoyed preaching, singing, and working with women's ministries. She and her husband Roger pastored Victory Assembly of God in Lake City, Fl. Pat retired from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2013, where she was employed for 28 years. One of her greatest joys was meeting people. She never knew a stranger and cherished every friendship she made. Pat Siter will be greatly missed by all.

Pat was preceded in death by her father, Walter Batey, and nephew Robert Johnson.

She is survived by her loving spouse; Roger Siter of Lake City, Fl., sons; Thomas Siter (Bridgett), John Siter (Lori), and daughter; Tricia Westland (Johnny); 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, her mother; Justina Batey and sister, Linda Johnson (Bobby) and numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends also survive.

A celebration of Pat's life will be held at 2:00p.m on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Raburn officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation with the family and friends will be held one hour (1:00 p.m. -2:00 p.m.) prior to the service at the funeral home.
