Patricia Lee Simonsen

Ms. Patricia Lee Simonsen,83, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at her residence following an extended illness. She is the daughter of the late Donald Grubbs and Iris Henden. She was preceded in death by her son Johnny Simonsen, a granddaughter Nichole Lee Simonsen, and a great-granddaughter Jalissah Nichole Johnson, and three brothers Dale and Bruce Souder, and Larry Dennis Grubbs, and one sister Gale Lindsey. She had made High Springs her home since 2002 after moving here from Miami, FL; she enjoyed training and showing horses, spending time with her family, but her passion was breeding and raising Rottweilers. She retired from Home Depot after twenty-two years.

She is survived by her daughter Donna Geiger, Ft. White, FL; her brothers and siters Keith Souder (Ellie) Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Clarice Lynn Seabolt, Lowell, FL; Terry Robert Carroll (Carroll) Naples, FL; Dale Alan Grubbs (Sandra) New Castle, VA; Jeffrey Dean Grubbs (Kimberly) Nashville, TN; two grandchildren Jessica and Jamie Guihan and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ms. Patricia Lee Simonsen will be conducted on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
