Patricia A Pitts, 60 of High Springs, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018, at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville.  She was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late James and Wanda Newman.  Mrs. Pitts had made her home in the High Springs area for the past 30 years.  She was currently working for Winn-Dixie in High Springs in the Bakery and had been working there for almost 30 years.  Mrs. Pitts attended both the Grace and Praise Ministries and the High Springs Church of God.  She enjoyed shopping, cooking and being with her family and friends during the Holidays.  Mrs. Pitts was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Ray Pitts in 2011, and one brother, Martin Newman.

Survivors include one sister, Betty Couch, Dayton, OH; one brother, Roger "Jim" Newman (Jean), Beaver Creek, OH; and her neice, Alisha Newman, (Charles Ross), Lake City.

A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Paul French officiating.
