Patricia Ann Sapp Johnson, 88 of Wellborn, passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.  She was born in Miami, Florida to the late Mitchell A. Sapp and Anna P. Titman Sapp.  Mrs. Johnson had made her home in Wellborn for close to 50 years and worked for the US Forestry Service in Suwannee County in the early 1970's and also with Olan Mills Photography in the 1980's.  Mrs. Johnson attended Wellborn Baptist Church when she was able and was a former member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Lake City. She loved gardening, making ceramics, baking, spending time with her family and was known to make the best fried chicken. She was preceded in death by her parents; three grandsons, Derek Johnson, Bryan Jenkins and Matthew Bartley; one great-grandson, Cody Watts; four sisters, Bonnie Norwood, Christina "Tina" Hall, Carolyn Estevez and Beatrice Sapp; and one brother, Wayne Sapp.

Survivors include her children, Curtis Johnson, Jr., Wellborn, Albert Johnson, Wellborn and Mark Johnson (Frankie), Horseshoe Beach; two daughters, Rosanna Lewis and Colleen Womacks (Paul) both of Glennville, GA; two brothers, James Sapp (Barbara), Lake City and Gordon Sapp (Kathy), Sarasota; the father of her 5 children, Curtis Johnson, Sr., Ludowici, GA; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be conducted on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 12:00 Noon in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mike Taber of Wellborn Baptist Church officiating.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the funeral home.
