Patricia Lee Guerry

Ms. Patricia Lee Guerry, 84, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Solaris Health Care in Lake City, FL, following an extended illness. She is the daughter of the late Morgan Lee and Lillian Thomas and the widow of the late James Harrison Guerry, who passed away in 2017. She was a lifelong resident of Columbia County and a member of the 1960 graduating class of CHS. In 1974, she graduated from Lake City Community College with her nursing degree. After graduating, she went on to work and retired from Lake Shore Hospital after 30 years of service.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved animals. Some of her favorite pastimes included fishing, swimming, and spending time outdoors. She cherished her Sunday school class at First Baptist Church and was a devoted supporter of missionaries.

Miss Pat was a loving and caring person who adored her family. She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her beloved animals, all of whom brought great joy to her life.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Rasodo and Becky Cade, both of Lake City, FL; her two sisters, Mary Jean Knabb and Cheryl Whigham (Tommy), of Lake City, FL; and four grandchildren, Gus Panhagopoulos, Gabe Gonzales, Grace Gonzales, and Carlee Rosado. Three great-grandchildren: Nick, Sophia, and Ophelia Panhagopoulos.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Reverend Carl Chauncey officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to Lake City Animal Shelter, 1392 NW Shelter Gln, Lake City, FL 32055.
