Patricia Luvenia Giddens Johns, 81 of Lake City, Florida entered her eternal rest on November 4, 2023. She was born in Avon Park, FL in 1942. 63 years ago, Patricia, who was known as Pat, married the love of her life Ray Johns on July 23, 1960. Pat worked in banking at various times throughout the years but her true passion was serving alongside her husband in ministry for 48 years- 32 years as Lead Pastors and 16 years as the Seniors Pastors at Christ Central. Pat and Ray began their ministry in 1972 in Lehigh Acres, FL and went on to pastor in Safety Harbor, Melbourne, Zolfo Springs, Lake City, Perry and Alva, FL.

One of Pat's favorite things was spending time in the mountains during the fall when the leaves were changing. She also loved family gatherings where there always had to be a family picture taken. And the family knew, if she didn't look good in it, the picture was taken again. Pat is preceded in death by her mom Viola (Granny) Staten.

She is survived by her husband Pastor Lonnie Ray Johns Sr., her sons Pastor Lonnie Johns (Tammie), Brian Johns (Kathy) and Pastor J Mark Johns (Tina). Grandkids Casey Roebuck, Angel Shaw (Seth), Tre Johns (Maria), Shaina Johnson (Austin), Casey Bowers (Tom), Tyler Johns and Chrissy Johns and 13 great grandkids. She is also survived by her sisters Judy Coleman, Barbara Langford (Jim), Shirley Coleman, Carole Beck (Paul) and June Durham (Gary). Sisters-in-law Linda Craft, Moena Edwards and brother-in-law Pastor Earl Johns (Freda) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on November 10, 2023 at Christ Central Lake City from 2:00pm-3:00pm with the service following at 3:00 P.M.. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL, 6037 W. US HWY 90, Lake City, FL, 32055.
