Patricia Gayle "Trish" Cagle, 73 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville.  Ms Cagle was the third child of six to the late Ben Cagle and Mildred Ricks Cagle.  She was raised in Lake City and was a graduate of Columbia High School class of 1966.  Ms Cagle was a longtime resident of St. Louis, Missouri before relocating to Gainesville in 2021.  She was of the Baptist faith and was a giving person by nature.  Ms Cagle enjoyed cooking for family and friends, hosting small dinner parties, traveling, taking walks and spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ben Douglas Cagle; and one sister, Lynn Jury.

Survivors include her daughter, Misty Waters, Gainesville; two brothers, Richard Cagle, Lake City and Mike Cagle (Judy), McAlpin; one sister, Pamela Cagle, Lake City; two grandchildren, Robert Waters, Tampa and Kaylin Waters, Gainesville; one great grandson, Kyler Waters, Gainesville; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, "Rubio".

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 5:00 PM at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel.  A time of visitation with the family will immediately FOLLOW the service till 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
