Patricia Anne Ellwood, 71, of Bell, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, September 21, 2023, after an extended illness. She was born on April 18, 1952 to the late Alfred Benjamin Manes and Thelma Marie Norris Manes. She was lovingly known as Granny Pat by those closest to her and she attended the Welcome Congregational Holiness Church and Bell Church of God.

Granny Pat was a dedicated Haven Hospice volunteer and in 2019 received the Dr. Raymond Fitzpatrick award for outstanding leadership and being a role model to other volunteers. She was an animal lover and avid supporter of the Humane Society of the United States. Granny Pat loved thrift store shopping, cooking, and spending time with her family. Her famous brownies and potato salad will be missed almost as much as she will.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-love, Eric & Evie Scerbo; grandchildren, Michael Cox (Desaray), Timothy Scerbo and John David Scerbo; great-grandchildren, Kloee Cox, Michael Cox, Jr. and Justin Cox.  One sibling, Kathy Scott (James) along with several extended family members and friends also survive.

A memorial service for Ms. Ellwood will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Welcome Congregational Holiness Church. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
