Patricia Johnson Clegg

Patricia Johnson Clegg, age 76, passed away on September 21st, 2026, in her home surrounded by her family in Lake City, FL. Born on February 3rd, 1950, Patricia completed her education at Martin County High School before embarking on a successful career. She dedicated many years of service as an administrative officer at a bank, retiring in 2007. Patricia was a woman of many passions, including sewing, shopping, and most importantly, spending time with her family. Her love for her family shone brightly, enriching the lives of those around her. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Johnnie Johnson and Samuel Carr; and her son-in-law, David Lambert.

She leaves behind her husband, Gary Clegg; her children, Cindy Clegg, Margaret Lambert, and Bonnie Clegg; her brothers, Tommy Johnson (Helen Johnson), Herbert Johnson, Dennis Johnson and Adam Johnson (Eve); sisters, Robin Carr (Dean) and Michelle Carr; her cherished grandchildren, Alfonso Battle, Brianna Harris, Christina Clark (Trey Clark) Cody Lambert (Shaylyn Lambert) Malinda Carpenter (Thomas Carpenter) and her beloved great grandchildren Logan Clark, Hayley Clark, Brendan Lambert, Rylie Lambert, Wyatt Carpenter, Levi Lambert, and Laura Lambert. Patricia's presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends.

A memorial service for Mrs. Clegg will be conducted on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Tom Tyer officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
