Mrs. Oudra Mae "Nanny" Edenfield Thomas, 81, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at North Florida Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She has lived in Lake City all of her life, born October 14, 1941, to the late Groover and Leila Edenfield. She enjoyed cooking and working in her yard and loved her family. She was a nanny to a lot of children and aunt Oudra to some of them. Mrs. Oudra was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church since 1970 where she taught Sunday school for many years, she was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star Grace Chapter #8.
Mrs. Oudra is survived by her husband of fifty-four years Marion Thomas, Lake City, FL; one son Budel Witt (Dawn) Lake City, FL; a granddaughter Ashley Rivero (Victor) Lake City, FL and a great-granddaughter Ava Rivero, Lake City, FL. and a host of extended family.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Oudra will be conducted Friday, December 23, 2022, at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Lake City, FL at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Burl Harkey officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
