Mrs. Ora Lee Witt, 90, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Solaris Health Care of Lake City. Ora was born in Hamilton County, the daughter of the late Lorin and Sadie [Sistrunk] Harrell. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who enjoyed fishing, sewing, doing needlework and crocheting. She retired in 1979 from Western Auto after working for them 18 years. Ora loved the Lord and was a long time member of Eastside Baptist Church.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Rosa Lee Hillhouse and her son, Clifton E. Luck.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara (Jim) Sapp of Lake City, FL; her sister, Lola Mae Graham of Lake City, FL; grandchildren, Laura (Brian) Caley of Lake City, FL, Shannon (Alan) Dean of Gainesville, FL, Mary Ann (Allen) Lampp of Lake City, FL, and Michelle (James) Raulerson of Gainesville, FL;  as well as 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016 in the Gateway-Forest Lawn memorial Chapel, with Pastor Lonnie Johns officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service time (2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.
