Mr. O. Wendell Feagle, 77, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at his home residence. Wendell is the son of the late Marion Cline and Mary Etta Hancock Feagle, he is preceded in death by one brother James Feagle, and a sister Mary Geraldine "Gerri" Stuart. Wendell was a lifelong resident of Lake City and a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, he was a happy soul who was known for telling funny stories and jokes whenever he had the chance, he also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family, especially his beloved grandchildren, and was a very loving and devoted Dad and Papa. He was a member of the Columbia High School graduating class of 1963, following high school he enlisted and served in the Florida National Guard afterward earning a Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida. He then returned to teach school in Columbia County and retired after forty-five years. Mr. Wendell was also a local business owner in Lake City, Florida he owned and operated Paradise Village Estates (formerly known as Paradise Village Mobile Home Park).

Mr. Wendell is survived by his two children Brandon Feagle (Ashley) and his daughter Amanda Feagle both of Lake City, FL; three brothers Aldine Feagle (Dorothy); Marlin Feagle (Diane); Farrell Feagle (Geraldine) all of Lake City, FL; one sister Olivia Green (Robert) Lake City, FL and a sister- in-law Janice Feagle of Lake City, FL; three grandchildren Cayden Feagle, Jacob Bass, and Grant Feagle. Along with a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Wendell will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. 3596 South US HWY 441 Lake City, FL. 32056.
