Nicole Xenia Lopez

Nicole Xenia Lopez, 21, of Lake City, tragically passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026 in Lake City. She was born in Margate, Florida on April 24, 2005 and has made Lake City her home for the last four years, moving here from Martin County. She was a 2024 graduate of Columbia High School, where she knew all of her classmates by name, and was quick to make friends with anyone that she came in contact with. She was always full of life and smiling and could make conversation with anyone. 

She is survived by her loving son, Devontae Campbell; mother and father, Melissa Reade & Jose Lopez; and her two brothers, Justin Lopez and Aiden Lopez.

A funeral service for Ms. Lopez will be conducted on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
