Morris David Ross, 74 of Lake City, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022. He was the son of Morris and Mattie Lee Ross. He was a lifelong Lake City resident that loved his town and the people in it. "Coach" Ross was a life-long supporter of every Lake City athletic team in town, and could always be found with his friends golfing at Quail Heights, fishing, or cheering on his alma mater, CHS. He never missed an opportunity to encourage anyone he could, and always took the time to actually demonstrate the love of God to the people around him. He loved his family, and most especially his wife Cathy of 45 years. He touched the lives of everyone around him.

He will be missed tremendously by his Wife, Cathy Ross; children, son, Audy and wife Karen, daughter: Melissa and husband Tony; grandchildren, Dustin , Nicholas and wife Shelby, Caitlin and husband Gift, Erin and Jenalyn; great-grandchildren, Zaelah, Kiani and Lance.

A drop in Celebration of Life for Coach Ross will be held on Monday afternoon, March 28, 2022.
