Monica Elizabeth Kimble, 76, of Providence, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, January 17, 2024 after a brief illness. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 5, 1947 to the late John Paul Brezinsky and Ann Brezinsky. She and her husband moved to Florida from Ohio and have made Providence their home the last three years. She worked for a number of years in hardware industry before retiring. In her spare time, she enjoyed making rosaries for her church's missions, reading, butterflies and when she was younger she enjoyed sewing. She was a member of the Epiphany Catholic Church here in Lake City; and she was preceded in death by her brother, John Paul Brezinsky.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Thomas A. "Tom" Kimble of Providence; sons, Thomas E. "Tom" Kimble (Marilyn) of LuLu and Brian Kimble (Crystal) of Nova, OH; daughters, Laura Hatfield (John) of Mashallville, OH and Sara Marshall (Jason) of Homerville, OH; and her sister, Christine Shaw Chargrin Falls, OH. Fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.

A memorial mass for Mrs. Kimble will be conducted on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the Epiphany Catholic Church with Father Bob Hoffman as the Celebrant. Inurnment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be considered to the Epiphany Catholic School, 1937 SW Epiphany Ct, Lake City, FL, 32025. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
