Mitchell Glenn Martin, age 61, passed away on July 4, 2014 at his residence in Starkville, Mississippi. He was a retired owner of Quality Carpet Care and a graduate of Columbia High School class of 1972.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Whitehead Martin of Starkville, MS; parents, Clifford Barnett Martin and wife, Sandy of Ocala, FL; brother, Michael Martin, Ocala, FL; sister, Cheri Brown of Ocala, FL, mother and father in law, Inez and Leon "L.H." Mathis of Starkville, MS. He was preceded in death by his mother Joyce Allen Martin.
Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday morning at Corinth Cemetery in Lake City, Florida, with Reverend Mark Mathis officiating. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lake City Humane Society, 1392 Shelter Glen, Lake City, Florida 32055.
