PAYNE, Mickey R. a resident of Wetumpka, AL; passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the age of 67. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Church in Montgomery, AL. with Bro. Gary Mohney officiating. Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.

Graveside services will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lake City, FL.Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. EST.  Mr. Payne is survived by his wife, Sandra Payne, son, Andrew Payne (Charity), stepsons, Clinton Cagle, Chadwick Cagle (Izza), stepdaughters, Stacey Zuazo (William), Joy Cagle, aunt, Mildred Ray, & seven grandchildren. Mr. Payne worked 30 years at the Department of Veterans Affairs. He liked sports, tennis and traveling. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home.
