Mr. Michele Faralli, 76 of Lake City passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville. Mr. Faralli was born in Montaquila, Italy to the late Ovidio and Tommasina Volpe Faralli. He came to the United States in 1956 and soon after joined the United States Army. While stationed in Germany, he met and married his late wife of 45years, Mrs. Anneliese Faralli, who preceded him in death in 2007. Following his retirement from the Army after 20 years, he moved to Lake City and retired from Turner Electric after many years employment. Mr. Faralli was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Lake City Moose Lodge #624 where he held many offices including the office of Pilgrim. In his spare time he enjoyed gambling, growing roses, shopping and his favorite time of the year was Christmas.

Survivors include his daughter, Diana Faralli Daniel, Lake City; one sister, Vienna Faralli, Montaquila, Italy; two grandchildren, Jonathan Mick (Jessica), Lake City and Brandon Sauls, Gainesville; and one great granddaughter, Mariah Mick, Lake City also survives.

Funeral services with Military Honors will be conducted on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Brandon Witt, pastor of the First Baptist Church of White Springs officiating. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
