Michael Kenneth Schulz, 72, of Lake City, FL passed away March 15, 2025, at Haven Hospice, Lake City.

Mike was born in Miami, FL on November 27, 1952, the son of the late Kenneth and Jeanette Schulz. He is survived by his wife, Beverly, and their children, Ryan Schulz (Amanda) and Becky Striebel (Jeremy), and their 4 precious grandchildren, Laila, Lorelei, Jonas, and Jack Striebel. Mike is also survived by his sister Marilyn Schulz Franklin, and many much-loved nieces, nephews, extended family, and very special friends.

Mike was raised in Miami Springs and moved to Lake City, Florida to attend Lake City Community College where he became a certified Auto Mechanic. Mike spent most of his career servicing a fleet of vehicles for UPS, retiring after 26 years. In retirement, Mike continued to enjoy auto repair and loved woodworking and home improvement projects. Most of all, he loved his time with his family, at home in Lake City and in their mountain home in Cashiers, North Carolina. He was a wonderful husband, Dad, and GP and will be sorely missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church for Youth Conferences, camps, or missions.
