Michael Howard Reeder, 75 of Lake Butler, passed away at his home on Friday, July 25, 2025.  He was born in Bradenton, Florida, the youngest child, to the late Edmund and Mae Kinchen Reeder.  Mr. Reeder was raised in Palmetto and was a graduate of Palmetto High School.  He had made his home in Lake Butler since 1993 and retired from Florida Power and Light with 45 years of employment.  In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, painting and fishing.  Mr. Reeder was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.

Survivors include his wife, Robin Kilcrease Reeder of Lake Butler; two children, George "Sonny" Hughes (Angela) of  Parrish, Florida and Terri Hughes of Lake Butler; grandchildren, Brittani Hetherington (James) of Trenton, Ryan Brant of Wachula, Libbie Arianna Brant of Lake Butler, Zach Hughes of St. Petersburg and Emily Hughes of Irmo, South Carolina; and three great-grandchildren, Cameron, Brooklyn and Kinley.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Reeder will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Fort Call Cemetery in Lake Butler with Pastor Terry Elixson officiating.  Interment will follow.
