Michael David "Mike" Vaughn, 67, of Lake City, formerly of Miami, FL, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023. He was born in Miami, Florida on February 19, 1956 to the late Robert Charles Vaughn and Yvonne Martin Vaughn. He graduated from Southwest High School in 1974 and was a Licensed Building Contractor, owning his own business along with his wife, MPV Builders Inc.. He was currently working for FPL as an outage technician temporarily. He and his wife, Peggy, were married on September 15, 1984. He was a member of the Wayside Baptist Church in Miami and in his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, bowling fishing and fishing some more.

He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy; his children, Michael "Mikey", Jennifer and Michelle; grandchildren, Cristian, Edwin & Bryson. He is also survived by brothers, Mark & Robbie as well his sisters, Darlene and Rhonda.

He is missed very much, but he is with his Savior, Jesus Christ in Heaven, joining a lot of family and friends. A celebration of life service for Mike will be conducted on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the Wayside Baptist Church in Miami, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be considered to the Samaritan's Purse Organization. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
