Michael Jay Larick, 72, passed away on April 30 after a battle with cancer.  He was the son of the late Harry C. and Roberta Larick.  Michael was a 1966 graduate of Brownsburg High School and attended Ball State University before joining the Navy.  He worked over 20 years for the United States Postal Service and was an inspired woodworker and pickleball player in his spare time.  He is survived by sisters Melissa Turpin (Richard), Brownsburg, IN and Kay Oldstrom (Stephen), Simpsonville, SC, daughter Cherie Cravens of Oldsmar, FL, special companion Mary Ann Thrasher, Lake City, FL, niece Alison Edwards, nephews Matt Turpin and David Oldstrom and great nieces, Emily, Abby, Molly, Alexis and Brooke.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Haven Hospice, Lake City, FL or Lake City Pickleball.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME
