Mr. Michael William Jerrell, 55, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Baptist Medical Center South following an extended illness. He is the son of the late Stephen and Judy Jerrell.  He was preceded in death by one Aunt Sylvia McLeran. Michael earned a Bachelor's degree at the University of Florida and attended Christs Church and enjoyed Hunting, fishing, Jai alai, tennis, and golf.

Michael is survived by two sons Hunter Jerrell and Ridge Jerrell and their mother Nicole Jerrell all of Jacksonville, FL. One sister Stephanie Jerrell Estep (Billy) Amelia Island, FL; one niece Bethanie Horne, Tallahassee, a great-niece Jubilie Horne, Tallahassee, FL. his aunts Norma Johnson, Atlanta, GA.; Loretta Phillips, Melbourne, FL.; Lottie Childs, Tallahassee, FL.; Dawn Segler (Lawton) Tallahassee, FL.; and Nanette Childs (Danny Johnson) Lake City, FL.; his uncle Albert Childs (Debbie). And a family friend Tara Smith, Mandeville LA. Who cared for him during his long-time illness.

A funeral service for Michael William Jerrell will be conducted on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 4:00 P.M. in the Lake City Christian Church, located at 2400 SW SR 247 Lake City, FL 32024 with Pastor Butch Jerrell officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation one hour prior to service at the church.
