Michael Henry Crosby, 53, of Lake City, passed away on Saturday afternoon, April 9, 2022 at the North Florida Regional Medical Center after a long standing illness. He was born in Savannah, Georgia on October 13, 1968 and has made the Lake City area his home for over 23 years. He was an Over Road Truck Driver and was a member of the Lake City Church of Christ. In his younger years, he enjoyed working on racecars with his father and his great grandfather. He also enjoyed welding in his spare time, fishing and crafting model cars. He was also known to be very gifted when it came to mechanical work. He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Renow Crosby.

He is survived by his wife of over 29 years, Kathleen Crosby; daughters, Jennifer Crosby Baker (Justin) and Katherine Crosby; grandson, Douglas Chester "DC" Henry Baker; brother, Jeffrey Renow Crosby (Beth); mother-in-law, Julia Harvey Young; and his mother, Carolyn Carr Crosby.

A memorial service for Mr. Crosby will be announced and held at the Lake City Church of Christ at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
