Michael T. Brooks, 35 of Fort White, passed away unexpectantly on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at the HCA Florida Lake City Hospital.  Michael was born in St. Petersburg, Florida and raised in Fort White.  He attended Fort White High School and was currently working the second shift at HAECO Americas in Lake City.  Following high school, Michael moved briefly to Orlando and while living in Orlando he met the love of his life, Jesse, and they have been inseparable since.  Michael loved his car, playing video games and spending time with his family, especially his cat "Set".  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Helen Suciu; and paternal grandfather, Robbie MacDonald.

Survivors include his parents, Bobby and Dori Trunnell, Fort White; the love of his life, Jesse Reeve, Fort White; paternal grandmother, Cindy MacDonald, Fort White.

A memorial service honoring Michael's life will be conducted on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 5:00 PM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Minister Tim Goolsby officiating.  A time of visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
