Matthew Everett Jones, 31, of Lake City, FL, died on Saturday, February 23, 2013, as the result of injuries due to an automobile accident. A native of Lake City, FL, he was the son of Alan Dale Jones and Bonnie Hines Jones. He had done some construction work and loved music. He had played in several bands, playing saxophone, mandolin and guitar. He loved languages and spoke Spanish and Chinese and also did sculptures. Mr. Jones was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Henry Jones, and maternal grandparents, James Hines and Ghaza Hines.

Survivors include his parents: Alan Dale Jones and Bonnie Hines Jones; grandmother: Dorothy Jones, Lake City, FL; three sisters: Kim Morgan, Bethlehem, PA, Ashley Alaina Jones and Jessica Erin Moll, both of Lake City, FL. Many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at 3 P.M. in the Chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Zac Douglas officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. before the service. GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 3596 S.
