Mrs. MaryVi Greene, 64, of Lake City, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, November 14, 2017 at the Haven, Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center after an extended illness. She was born in Lake City to the late John Guthrie and Bonnie Christie on August 1, 1953. She was a life-Long resident of Lake City and a School Bus Driver for the Columbia County School District for over twenty years. In her spare time, she enjoyed to fish, ride her motorcycle and shop. She was a member of the Church of God here in Lake City.

She is survived by her loving husband of forty-two years; Danny S. Greene of Lake City; daughter; Janine Greene McSpadden (Richard) of Lake Butler; son; Abel Greene (Brenda) of Jacksonville; grandchildren; Taylor and Matthew McSpadden both of Lake Butler. Three sisters; Janice Braddy (Jim), Susan Cason and Frieda Andrews also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Greene will be conducted on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Corinth Cemetery with Darrell Tomlinson officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. (one hour prior to the services) at the cemetery.
