Mary Jewell, 82, longtime resident of Columbia County, Florida, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at the Haven Hospice Care Center following an extended illness. She was a member of Hopeful Baptist Church.

Survivors include one sister, Ann Jones of Maryland and two brothers, Butch Thompson of South Carolina and Billy Thompson of Maryland. Also two sons, Timothy Greene of Jacksonville, Florida and Bruce Jewell of Lake City, Florida; three daughters, Linda Burnett of Jacksonville, Florida, Vicky Falkenstein of Pennsylvania and Terri Greene of Tennessee. Six grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren also survive.

Memorial funeral services for Mrs. Jewell will be conducted on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 12:30 P.M. in the Jacksonville National Cemetery. Interment will follow the services.
