Mary Frances Harrell, 98, of Lake City, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 14,2014.
Born on July 7, 1915 to her parents Andrew Jackson Sellers and Ether Newsome and her grandparents J.M.Y Sellers and Mary Elizabeth Casey Sellers. She was preceded in death by her husband and childhood sweetheart, Joe C. Harrell.
Survivors included her daughters; Jackie Harrell Rich, of Lake City, Fl., Linda Juniel Davis (Jim) of Columbus, Ga., grandchildren; Kimberly R. Cole (John) of Lake City, Fl., Kevin Rich (Margaret) of Westminster, Co., Matthew Davis of New York City, NY., great grandchildren Tyler Hagler, Lauren Hagler, Michael Hagler all of Lake City, Fl., Nathan Rich, Joseph Rich both of Westminster, Co. She always wore a hat and was frequently referred to by her friends as "The Hat Lady". She never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her.
Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Gateway Forest Lawn Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at IVEY FUNERAL HOME in Bainbridge, Ga.
