Mary Jane Bethea, 86, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014. She was born in Galena, Ohio to the late Millard and Oleatha [Huff] Pyne and had lived in Lake City for the past 30 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed tending her house plants and quilting.

Survivors include her sons, Steven (Linda) Bethea of Lake City, FL and Richard (Kathy) Bethea of Lancaster, OH; grandchildren, Christopher, Curtis, Andrew, and Chelsea; & several great grand children.

Memorial services were held Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Hopeful Baptist Church.
