Ms. Martha Jane Strickland, 73, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, unexpectedly. She was the daughter of the late Leroy and Mary Harper Strickland. And is preceded in death by four brothers, Leroy, Alan, Mitchell, and Nathan Strickland, and one sister, Denise Strickland. She had made Lake City her home and enjoyed gardening, camping, reading, puzzles, and crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Martha is survived by her two daughters Lisa Maldonado (Nef), Sanderson, FL and Jennifer Anderson, Lake City, FL; one brother Estes Strickland (Patricia), Lake City, FL; and two sisters Irene Strickland, Lake City, FL; and Merle Irvin, Albany, GA; two grandchildren Nathan and Hannah Romeo.

A memorial service for Ms. Strickland will be conducted on Friday, July 25, 2025, in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Randy Ogburn officiating.
