Martha Jean Lee, 72 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at the Lake City Medical Center.  She was born in Ashland, Ohio to the late Francis and Doris Hites Herpel.  Ms Lee had made her home in Lake City for the past 39 years having moved here from Overton, Ohio.  She was a volunteer with the Lifestyle Enrichment Center in Lake City and earned the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2020.  Ms Lee enjoyed reading, crocheting, painting, hobbies and crafts.

Survivors include her two daughters, Sheri Harrington (Steve Danielson) and Andrea Martino, both of Lake City; three brothers, Timothy Herpel, Thomas Herpel and James Herpel; one sister, Margaret Ribeau; seven grandchildren, Joshua Blanton, Nicholas Blanton, Arika Mimm, Dustin Butler, Rebecka Loch, Jordan Harrington and Kathryn Harrington; eleven great-grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services for Ms Lee will be held at a later date.
