Obituary

Mark William Toigo, 71, of Lake City, passed away on Saturday morning, September 3, 2022 at the Haven Hospice in Lake City, Fl after an extended illness. He was born in Springfield, Illinois on May 30, 1951 to William Angelo Toigo and Esther Cozza Toigo. He has made the Lake City area his home since 1974 and worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist with a Masters Degree for 20 years and retired from the Florida Department of Transportation as a Contract Specialist. He was a Minister at the First Apostolic Church of Lake City. He loved singing and writing beautiful songs of worship to the Lord. He had a warm and welcoming personality. In his spare time he enjoyed cheering for his wife as she competed in Sprint Triathlons, helping others and riding his horses. He is preceded in death by his Father, William Toigo, his Mother, Esther Toigo, his Sister, Leslie Craven and his Brothers, Jon and Billy Toigo.

He is survived by his loving Wife of 51 years, Mary Kadel Toigo of Lake City; Daughter, Jamie Toigo Revis (Marty) of Lake City; Son, Joel Barat Toigo (Robyn) of Oklahoma; Four Grandsons, Ethan Revis of Lake City; Dominic Toigo of Oklahoma, Angelo Toigo of Oklahoma; Carmine Toigo of Oklahoma along with Sister, Denice Riley and her husband, Garry of Clearwater, FL; Sister, Michelle Siegrist of Clearwater, FL; Sister, Cindy Brittin and her husband, Jim of Clearwater, FL; Sister, Marguerite "Peggy" Toigo of Clearwater, Fl; Brother, Dante W. Toigo and his wife, Julet of Brandon, MS; Sister, Martine "Tina" Ward and her husband, Tab of Clearwater, FL; Sister, Bess "Missy" Toigo-Garrett of Clearwater, FL; Sister, Jennifer Rourk and her husband, Robert of Boise, ID and loved by many in Lake City including the members of The First Apostolic Church.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Toigo will be conducted on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastors Chad Townsend of Lake City and Jeff Bryson of Perry officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 1:30 P.M. prior to the service.
