Marjorie Williams Dietz was born, July 22, 1932, at New Smyrna Beach, FL to Seay Williams and Helen Rogers Harrelson (Tommy).  For many years, Margie resided on the beach in Neptune Beach, FL, until moving to Lake City, FL, in February 2015. Margie graduated from Jones Business College and worked many years as Office Manager, at Duval Spirits, of Jacksonville, FL and then at the manager's office of the Avenues Mall, before retiring. Margie loved the beach, traveling to many places, with her husband Neil H. Dietz and going to Gator football games. She volunteered for many years as a voting poll worker and was active in the Beaches Garden Club . She lit up a room, when she entered and loved spending time with her family and friends, especially on the holidays.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Neil H. Dietz, a son, Ralph Paul Witt III and her sisters, Susan Johnson, Shirley Gay and brother in law, Tommy Gay. She is survived by a son, Stephen M. Witt (Jodi), grandchildren, Ralph Paul Witt IV (Haley), Nikki Bush (Jeff), Trey Witt (Andrea), Trevor Witt, Leah Keaton (Chris) and Jamie Taylor (Christina).  Numerous great grandchildren also survive.  Nephew, Kevin Gay (Jesse) and niece, Julie Vontz (Ken) and mother of Paul and Nikki, Marcia Witt.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 17, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, with visitation, Thursday, November 16, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haven Hospice of Lake City.
