Marilyn Jo Davenport, 81 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.  Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Esker C. and Betty Barberree.  Mrs. Davenport is survived by her husband of 63 years, Oakley "Dave" Davenport; 3 sons, James Davenport (Kathy), John Davenport (Renee) and Thomas Davenport (Sibyl); 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Glenn Barberree (Carol) also survive.

Per Marilyn's wishes, there will be no viewing or open service.  Marilyn is to be cremated and her ashes will be placed at the Jacksonville National Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida, where a service for the family will be held.
