Mrs. Marilee Myers, 75, of Lake City, passed away early Thursday morning, May 3, 2018 at the Shands University of Florida Hospital in Gainesville after a extended illness. She was born in Sheridan, Wyoming on June 22, 1942 to the late Richard "Dick" Bentzen and Gail Bentzen. She has made Lake City her home since 1988, moving here from Wyoming. She was an Elementary School Teacher; and in her spare time, enjoyed gardening, listening to the Christian BBN radio station and was very devoted stay at home mother.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Myers in 2016.

She is survived by her sons; Curtis Myers (Amy) of Lake City and William Myers (Jessica) of Lake City; daughters; Gail Boehmer of Perry and Sarah Garcia (Izzy) of Lake City. Fifteen grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Myers will be conducted on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery; interment will follow.
