Margaret Lee Wilson-Tiner

Margaret Lee Wilson-Tiner went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Jun 28, 2026 at the Haven Hospice – Suwannee Valley Care Center of Lake City. Margaret was born on October 31, 1934 to John Henry Lee and Mildred Lee Boone in Lake City. She spent many of her last years in Steinhatchee and St. Augustine. Her favorite times were spending time with family and friends & fishing.

She was preceded in death by her first husband and her children’s father Odell Wilson, two granddaughters, Paige McAnany and Kaitlynne Law; and her two sisters, Norma Jean Waldron and Vivian Glenn.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Tiner; and her five children, Gail, Gary “Hambone” (Patti), Sherri Williams (Shelton), Larry Wilson & Vicki Gau. She is also survived by her sister Virginia Tiner; along with ten grandchildren: Melvin Sheppard, Robert Sheppard, Gary Wilson, Eric Wilson, Tim Cassidy, Amy Cassidy, Crystal Brannen, Torre Wilson, Tyler Wilson & Chris Gau; and fifteen great-grandchildren survive. Caregivers Mike and Lynn Tiner and Madison Chauncey have also been a special blessing.

A funeral service for Margaret will be held on Thursday July 2, 2026. Visitation will be at 1:00 with the service following at 2:00 in the chapel at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, with Pastor Stan Ellis officiating. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 3596 S.
