Margaret Ellen Morris Hill Hall, 86, of Lake City, passed away on Friday morning, December 2, 2022 at her residence after a extended illness. She was born in West Virginia on March 26, 1936 to the late Elmer & Grace Pleasants Morris. She has made Lake City her home most of her life, and was a loving homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, working with crossword puzzles and gardening. She also enjoyed spending time with her family as often as she could and was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by both of her husbands, Frances Carroll Hill and Jimmy Carroll Hall; her grandchild, Kristy Orman; son-in-law, L.W. Norris; five brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her children, Ann Adair (Garry), Patsy Davis (Stevie), Wanda Crawford (Sammy), Bonita Norris, Kay Nettles (Alan) & Marie Thomas (Rocky); her sister, Ruth Ann Manheim; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A private celebration gathering for her family was held on Saturday, December 3, 2022. She will be interred privately at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
