IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margaret Ann
Buttrick
August 8, 1940 – June 19, 2017
Margaret Ann Culbertson Buttrick, age 76, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 peacefully in her home after an extended illness. She was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Margaret was a full-time housewife and devoted mother the majority of her life. After raising her children, she worked for the K-mart Eatery and eventually, retired from K-Mart. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Bernard Allen Buttrick and her daughter, Susan M. Bauer. Also, preceded in death were her brother, Walter L. Culbertson and sister, Shirley A. Harden.
Margaret was survived by her sister, Marie Bouthiller, Ohio and her children, Dean A. Buttrick, Lake City, Greg S. Buttrick, Lake City, Cindy (Randall) L. Hilton, Bossier City, LA, Lisa (John) A. Lynn, Lake City, and Danny (Wanda) L. Buttrick, Lake City. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason and Jeremy Bauer, Christie Rawlings, Alex Reville, Jesa Burgoyne, Jasmine Buttrick, Kenny Buttrick, and Diana Hutchens. Margie also had five great-grandchildren. Margaret had many devoted nieces and nephews that felt she was their second mother. Walt Culbertson and Deb Buttrick-Wilson were particularly close to Margie and visited often. She loved children and not just her own. She adopted so many children in her heart as the member of the family. One person that felt a strong connection to Margie is Shannon Miles.
She was amazing woman who will be missed by so many, but none more than her family. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to North Florida Haven Hospice.
