Manuel Michael Brannan, 76, of Lake City, passed away on Thursday morning, December 8, 2022 at the Haven Hospice – Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City after a brief illness. He was born in Lake City on December 7, 1946 to the late Harry F. Brannan and Merle Clark Brannan. He has been a life-long resident of Lake City and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. He worked in Mobile Home construction for many years; and in his spare time, enjoyed sitting on his porch, watching the races and spending as much time with his family that he could. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelda Brannan.

He is survived by his son, Mike Brannan and wife Christa of Suwannee County; daughter, Connie S. Blackwell of Lake City; grandchildren, Kelsey and Darrel Lovette, Krista Blackwell, Austin and Sarah Blackwell, Dalton and Amber Parker, Dillon Brannan, Devon Brannan & Ava Brannan; and his great-grandchildren, Cash Lovette and Everly Parker. Two brothers, Dale Brannan and Ricky Brannan both of Lake City; along with his brother & sister-in-law, Laymon and Ellen Brannon of Loganville, GA also survive.

A graveside funeral service for Mr. Brannan will be conducted on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Dale Brannon officiating. Interment will follow.
