Obituary

Lyndon John Rainbolt, age 65, passed away on Monday, August 29th, 2022. Lyndon was born to Margaret (Ivers) Camery and the late Richard Delano Rainbolt on April 6th, 1957, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After graduating from Wayzata High School, Lyndon worked as a gunsmith before he attended the University of St. Thomas and the University of Minnesota. In 1981 he moved to Montana with his late wife Mary (Hamann) Rainbolt where he worked in public relations and communications. Lyndon relocated to Lake City, Florida in 1989, and went on to establish what is now known as Rainbolt Technical Services, a family-owned and operated electrical company.

Lyndon was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, shooting, sailing, and hiking. If he wasn't spending time with his children or grandchildren, he could be found near the water with a fishing pole or watching a sunset, as these were some of his favorite things to do. After Mary passed in 2004, Lyndon married his loving wife Laurie (Reifers) Rainbolt. They were married for 17 years and together they enjoyed traveling, exploring, and spending time with friends and family.

Lyndon's passion for helping others made a huge impact on many lives and this was evidenced by the missionary work he did. Much of this work extended to churches located in Florida, Acapulco, Cancun, Mexico City, and other areas. Lyndon was only a phone call away for anyone who needed him.

Lyndon is survived by his wife Laurie (Reifers) Rainbolt; his sister Maria Rainbolt, and brothers Daniel Rainbolt and Darrin Rainbolt; his children Tamra (Rainbolt) Goos, Nathan Rainbolt, Aaron Rainbolt, Roseanne (Rainbolt) Sparks, Annemarie (Rainbolt) Sparks, Daniel Rainbolt, Micah Rainbolt, and Angel (Reifers) Kennedy, along with their spouses; his grandchildren Logan, Taya, Carson, Ethan, Halle, Kacey, Charity, Ashleigh, Sally, Kyler, Sadie, Libby, Patrick, Mason, Jaxson, Ariel, and Henry; his mother, Margaret (Ivers) Camry; his niece Justine and nephew Kyle, in addition to other aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased in death by his first wife Mary Rainbolt, his father Richard Rainbolt, and his sister Lisa Rainbolt.
