Lynda Marie Holderfield, 75, of Fort White, passed away at her residence on Saturday, April 1, 2023, after a brief illness. She was born in LaGrange, Georgia on September 15, 1947 to the late Carion Billy Tumlin and Laura Esther Brown Tumlin. She has made the Fort White area her home since 1986, moving here from the Bryceville area. She worked for Energizer for a short stint before completely retiring; and in her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, but just catching the fish, not eating them, and playing bingo. She is preceded in death by her sister, Lois King.

She is survived by her sons, Travis Holderfield of Lake City, Charles Davenport (Connie) of Ringo, GA and Waylon Glover of Tampa; daughters, Tammy Holderfield of Fort White, Angela Lamb of Branford, and Charlene Glover of Alabama. Two sisters, fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren also survive.

A funeral service for Ms. Holderfield will be conducted on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
