Lucile "Mamie" Barager, 102, of Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family, following an extended illness.

Born March 3, 1912 in Lake City to the late Tom Clements and Roxie Lanier. She was a lifelong resident of Lake City, living here for 102 years. Mrs. Barager was a member of the Presbyterian Church, she enjoyed fishing, camping, and their Ichetucknee River House. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Raymond Barager.

Survivors include one daughter; Lana Barager Jones (Ron) of Lake City, one granddaughter Andrea Jones, of St. Augustine, one grandson; Toby Jones (Angela) of Lake City, and three great grandchildren; Rhegan Shiver, Casey and Kylee Jones, special friends Pat and Harry Lumbert and Louise "Weezie" Huelskamp also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Barager will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Gateway Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Lumbert officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the family and friends will be held one hour prior (10:00-11:00 a.m.) to the service at the funeral home.
