Mr. Loyd "Buddy" Stacy, Jr., 56 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City.  He was born and raised in Orlando, Florida to the late Loyd and Betty Louise Summers Stacy, Sr. and had lived in Lake City for the past 30 years.  Loyd was a Christian by faith and enjoyed watching and contributing to CBN for their outreach ministry.  Loyd loved hot rods, classic cars and keeping his lawn in immaculate condition, even during his sickness.  Mr. Stacy was preceded in death by one grandson, Colton Dewayne Lewis, in 2014.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Elliott, Lake City; five sons, Loyd Stacy, III (Angel) and Gericho Stacy both of Lake City, Ashley Dewayne Lewis (Brittany), Douglas, GA, Ryan Alexander Elliott (Kayla), Worthington Springs and Khi Daniel Elliott, Lake City; two daughters, Ashley Megan Elliott, Gainesville and Raegan Nickole Elliott, Lake City; his sister and brother-in-law, Dianna Stacy Wood and Jimmy Wood, Lake City; five grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5-7:00 pm at the funeral home.
