IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Louise Vivian
Spires
January 8, 1935 – November 18, 2021
Louise Vivian (nee) Bagley Spires was born on January 1, 1935 in Jacksonville, Florida to loving parents – her mother, Mary Louise (nee) Jones Bagley and her father, Lex V. Bagley. She was known as Vivian to those who knew and loved her. She journeyed from this life on November 18, 2021 at Haven Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center in Lake City, Florida. She was greeted in heaven by her husband, the love of her life, Jessey Walter Spires, her adopted daughter, Kim Latonia, and her sister Bobby Begley.
Vivian was a pioneer in her time, following her calling to become a nurse. She cared for her patients with great compassion. She reached out to her community where she promoted health and wellness. While working as a nurse she met her husband, Jessy, whose mother was in her care. She and Jessey became great friends, dated, and on one of those dates he fixed her antenna so she could watch her favorite movie, The Ten Commandments. That was the day they fell in love. They spent forty happy years together as husband and wife.
Vivian loved the simple things in life; a picnic or a day at the lake or beach. She was an avid sci-fi fan who loved Star Trek and watched all of the episodes throughout the years. Most of all, she loved the Lord, her Savior, with all her heart. Her faith in Him was never-ending. She was a true servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Vivian fondly and deeply loved her daughters and grandchildren. Her love reached to the moon and back. She worried about others more than she did herself. Vivian was a great friend to Marcia Padgett, who was a great help to her throughout the years.
Vivian Spires will be remembered and we will always feel her love in our hearts. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Elizabeth Anne (nee) Spires Ramirez, grandson Joseph Robert Ramirez; her adopted daughter Darlene and son-in-law Allen Breeden; her grandchildren Tyler, Tara, Himko, and Hunter Breeden; son-in-law Joe Latonia, his two children Madison and Carl Latonia; step-son Michael Latonia; and nine beloved great-grandchildren.
We will always love you, Mom. When we look at the stars we will know where you are, home with our Lord, Jesus Christ.
