Mrs. Lola Jean Hall Kinard, 74 of Fort White, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City following an extended illness. She was born and raised in Jacksonville to the late Ellison and Lola Brooks Hall and had lived in Fort White for over 45 years having moved from Jacksonville. Sister Kinard was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was attending the Branford Ward in Branford, FL. She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville and retired from Richardson Middle School in Lake City as a teacher's aid. When she was younger she enjoyed boating and water skiing and in her latter years enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Lockwood Hall and one son in law, Clyde Sullivan.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Earl F. Kinard, Fort White; two daughters, Jenifer Kinard Sullivan and Kate Kinard Tyre (J.D.) both of Fort White; one step son, Wayne Kinard (Janet), Fort White; two step daughters, Karen Edwards, Jacksonville and Beth Russell (Tim), Lake City; ten grandchildren, Dale Kinard, Chad Kinard, Emmalee Kinard, Kasey Jordan, Keli Edwards, Travis Russell, Andrea Russell, Selena Sullivan, Trey Tyre and Sophie Tyre; three great grandchildren, Hayley Jordan, Leighton Jordan and Hayden Russell; numerous cousins and extended family also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church in Branford with Bishop Roy Bagley presiding. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Union County. Visitation with the family will be from 5-7:00 pm at the funeral home.
