Lois Gerthena Pearce, 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, May 8, 2013. She was born in Lake City, Florida to the late Ralph and Iola "Dennis" Pearce and remained here her whole life. She was a caring lady who loved her cats and was a friend to all. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Gerthena is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, David Franklin Pearce.
Survivors include several cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 10, 2013 in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Tatem and Pastor Lowell O'Steen officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
