Lois Ann Morse, 83 of Lake City, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City.  She was born in Norwich, Connecticut, the younger of two daughters, to the late John Frances Curry and Mary Ellen Robinson Curry.  Ms Morse had made her home in Lake City for the past 17 years and had previously been a longtime resident of Tampa.  She was a member of Evangel Church of God in Lake City.  In her spare time she enjoyed reading, doing cross word puzzles and shopping at the mall.  Ms Morse was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Morse, Sr; and her older sister, Joan Botham, who passed away 8 days before Ms Morse.

Survivors include her two sons, Harold Morse, Jr. (Kathy), Dunkirk, MD and Dennis Morse (Tammy), Helena, AL; four grandchildren, Megan Albanese (Matthew), Land O'Lakes, FL, Austin Shope, Lake City, Cory Morse (Kristen), Plant City, FL and Blake Morse, Helena, AL; and three great-grandchildren, Mason, Russell and Carmella Albanese.

A Celebration of Life Service honoring the life of Ms Morse will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Evangel Church of God with Pastor Rick Holmes officiating.
